01/22/2007. Remarks by Jack McKillop: "This aircraft was delivered to Northeast Airlines of Boston, Massachusetts, USA, on April 18, 1949 registered N91239 and assigned fleet number '39'. Northeast sold it in 1953 and it passed through five owners, the last being East Coast Leasing. Alaska Airlines leased it between December 8, 1965 and December 21, 1966 and returned it to its owner. On August 22, 1968, this aircraft and a Convair 600, both owned by East Coast Leasing, were in a hangar at the Martinsburg, West Virginia Airport when someone set off fire bombs. Both aircraft were destroyed in the resulting fire."
