Remarks by Jack McKillop: "Delivered to Northwest Orient Airlines of Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA, on March 12, 1957 registered N575. This aircraft crashed on take off at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport, Minnesota, on August 28, 1958 but the 58-passengers and four crew survived. Fire broke out following the evacuation of the plane. The probable cause of the crash was, "The pilot's inattention to flight instruments during take off in conditions of reduced visibility." |
