04/30/2007. Remarks by Jack McKillop: "After rolling off the assembly line on February 10, 1959, this aircraft was delivered to the US carrier Wien Alaska Airlines on May 22, 1959 registered N2708R. On March 23, 1968, Wien merged with Northern Consolidated Airlines and became Wien Consolidated Airlines; on August 1, 1973, the company was renamed Wien Air Alaska.

On October 12, 1977, this F-27A was sold to a private company who sold it to the Chilean carrier AeroNor Chile on February 14, 1978 and it was reregistered CC-CBP. It was withdrawn from use and stored at Santiago, Chile, in August 1984. Its fate is unknown."
