McKillop: "This Hudson was ordered by the USAAF as an
A-29A-LO s/n 42-47335 for transfer to the RAF under Lend-Lease. The
aircraft was delivered to the RAF on May 30, 1943 with s/n FK779
and was assigned to No. 45 (Atlantic Ferry) Group, redesignated No.
45 (Transport) Group in June 1944. On March 28, 1946, the aircraft
was sold to Canadian Pacific Airlines of Montreal, Quebec, Canada,
registered CF-CRK and assigned fleet number 242. In May 1949, it
was sold to The Photographic Survey Co. Ltd of Toronto, Ontario,
Canada. This company carried out survey flights for the government
and private companies however, the actual flying was carried out by
Kenting Aviation Ltd. also of Toronto.
This aircraft was still in service in 1959 but its fate is unknown."
