01/22/2007. Remarks by Jack McKillop: "This aircraft was delivered to the US Navy on April 12, 1943 with BuNo. 12476. It served in the Territory of Hawaii during World War II until it was stricken from Navy records on August 31, 1946. It was sold to an American company and registered NC68142 (N68142 after January 1, 1949) and reregistered N41M in 1957. It was sold to various US companies and banks until the registration was cancelled in August 1982. Its fate is unknown." |
