10/31/2018. Remarks by
Johan Visschedijk: "This was the B-6 private venture prototype built to Air Ministry Specification S.15/33 for a torpedo-spotter-reconnaissance aircraft. With a fixed wheel undergarriage it made its first flight on August 24, 1933, it was allotted the '
Class B' marking B-6, also adopted as the Blackburn type number. Early 1934 it was taken on charge by the Directorate of Technical Development of the Air Ministry and given the serial K4295. On November 22, 1934, it was returned to be brought up to the Shark Mk.I version already in production and to be fitted with a twin-float landing gear for testing seaplane performance. Pictured in this configuration, the aircraft was successfully flown in April 1935."
