06/30/2008. Remarks by Johan Visschedijk: "The XF7B-1 was produced with an enclosed cockpit and flew for the first time on September 14, 1933. The USN test criticized the poor visibility so the aircraft received an open cockpit.
The aircraft received structural damage in March 1935 when the pull-out of a dive generated 12.1 'g', while the design load factor was only 9.0. The aircraft was subsequently scrapped."
