08/15/2008. Remarks by Johan Visschedijk: "The British Klemm Aeroplane Co.Ltd. was formed at Hanworth, London, UK, in February 1933, to manufacture the previously imported German Klemm L 25.
The first new product, the Eagle I, was designed by George Handasyde and Herold Boultbee, the pictured prototype was flown in early 1934, followed by 42 production aircraft. The company was renamed British Aircraft Manufacturing Co. Ltd. on April 4, 1935, while the prototype was written off in June 1938."
