Curtiss 8 HS-2L

05/31/2009. Remarks by Johan Visschedijk: "Boeing received an order from the USN to produce 50 examples (BuNos. A-4231 to A-4280) of the HS-2L patrol flying boat. The end of WW I resulted in only 25 being produced by Boeing. Pictured is the sixth aircraft built by Boeing, that were distinguishable from those built by five other companies, by the absence of ailerons on the lower wings."
