Under the serial 127 it was taken on charge by the RCAF on May 1, 1930, only three years later it was struck off charge on March 18, 1933.
It came in the Canadian civil register as CF-CDU on March 20, 1933, owned by the Department of National Defence and operated by the Toronto Flying Club, Toronto, Ontario; the registration was transferred to the flying club on October 2, 1936. Deregistered it was sold to the Ottawa Car Manufacturing Co. on December 21, 1936.
Under the previous registration, the Ottawa Flying Club of Ottawa became the new owner on August 11, 1937. The registration was cancelled on October 25, 1939 and the aircraft was transferred to the Ottawa Technical School as an instructional airframe."
