05/31/2008. Remarks by Johan Visschedijk: "This was the third F-4E produced and it was delivered to Nellis AFB, Nevada, on October 2, 1967, shortly after its first flight. It was used by the USAF Thunderbirds from 1969 to 1973. Thereafter it was based at Edwards AFB, California, as shown by the tail code 'ED'."
