02/28/2015. Remarks by Johan Visschedijk: "Built in 1948, it was registered to its last owner, David Andre of Port Angeles, Washington, USA, on August 8, 1973. On September 18, 1978, this floatplane was lost at Port Angeles. On take off for a local flight, the aircraft, nosed over and came to rest in the water and subsequently sank. Both occupants escaped serious injury, however, the aircraft was damaged beyond repair, it was deregistered two years later, September 22, 1980."
