06/30/2024. Remarks by
Johan Visschedijk: "This was the first production Master, first flown by F.G. Miles on March 31, 1939, here it is flown by H.W.C. Skinner, chief test pilot of Miles. N7408 was lost on August 28, 1940, when it hit a ballon cable and on to the roof of the weighing machines factory W & T Avery in Smethwick, West Midlands, England. The pilot was killed, but there were no serious civilian casualties."
