Remarks by Johan Visschedijk: "Similar to the USN SBU-series, fourteen Model V-142 attack and dive-bombers were delivered to the Comando de Aviación Naval (Naval Aviation Command) of the Armada Argentina (Argentine Navy). Named Corsario by the Argentines, these served with No. 2 Attack Squadron until 1945, thereafter they were delegated to training duties at BAPI (Base Punta Indio), the naval air base near Veronica, Buenos Aires province."
