02/08/2026. Remarks by Johan Visschedijk: "Build in 1957, this aircraft was registered G-APAF on March 25, 1957. Since it has been reregistered eighteen times, six of the re-registrations had co-owners, with a total of sixteen persons! The aircraft carries the serial TW511, during WW II that was allotted to a Taylorcraft Auster A.O.P.Mk.V.
On September 30, 2016, the pilot of G-APAF made a forced landing some 546 yd (500 m) north-east of Netheravon Airfield, Wiltshire, UK. This was due to a loss of power, caused by carburetor icing, resulting in damage to the left landing gear. Both occupants escaped injuries.
The aircraft is still active as of this day."
