04/30/2008. Remarks by Johan Visschedijk: "These aircraft are wearing the markings of Composite Squadron 62 (VC-62) 'Fighting Photos'. The F9F-8P had just been received by the squadron when the photo was taken shortly before July 2, 1956, when the squadron became Light Photographic Squadron VFP-62. The pictured F9F-8P was lost on April, 20, 1959, when the pilot ejected."
