07/31/2012. Remarks by Johan Visschedijk: "Produced as a DHC-1 Chipmunk T.Mk.10 by de Havilland in the UK, this aircraft was delivered to the RAF under serial WB684 on July 4, 1950. Struck off charge in 1973, it came on the British register as a Chipmunk Mk.22 and was registered as G-BBTP on November 29. Subsequently it went to the USA, where it was registered as N53942, later it became N68031 and still is as of this day."
