10/31/2008. Remarks by Johan Visschedijk: "Ordered as a P-51B-1-NA fighter, this aircraft was converted to an F-6C photo reconnaissance aircraft before delivery to the USAAF. However, as indicated by the sharks mouth, this aircraft was used mainly as a fighter, serving with the 26th Fighter Squadron, 51st Fighter Group. It was lost at Station 19, Barrackpore, India, on March 29, 1944."
